All Links Great and Small

Okay, I just have to say it .... I love my dog. I like cat's too, but they rarely come when they're called and they have a severe can opener fixation! If you'd like to read about some of the antics of my Cairns check out a few of my CRITTER CHRONICLES . As Mr. Jake gets himself into more terrierorizing, I shall, from time to time, give him a soap box.  He loves to tell stories.

Aside from being a bit nuts about dogs, and ever in search of a quick and easy recipe, I do enjoy visiting web sites of people I have met on the Internet.  Perhaps you'd like to meet them, too! If you'd like your own web site included here, just let me know.

Before I forget, I thought I should let you know about a new link.  MINI ME  is a brief pictorial about growing up  with cerebral palsy. Although the quality of some of the photographs is not great, I thought it would be fun to include them here. "Lop" is a nickname a friend in university gave me. To know me is to appreciate that it suits me well.

Speaking of kids, check out SEAN COSTELLO'S PHOTO ALBUM . He's a real cutie!  Sean's Mom and Dad participate on the CPPARENT  news group. It's a fantastic and valuable resource for parents raising children who live with cerebral palsy.  You simply have to visit MY SPECIAL KIDDO to meet Emily; her mother put together a very organized site with great pictures. OUR KIDS  is another excellent resource to learn more about children with cp and other disabilities. DANNY  is another of the children whose progress I've been following with interest. What a beautiful boy he is.

JONATHAN BERRY and his brothers have very fine pages, indeed. You really must check them out. Then you will see, if you take the time to explore the pages of these children, that disability doesn't get in their way. Many could take a lesson from their perseverance. Just ask  KYLE . No doubt he could teach us a thing or two about about tenacity. If you really want to appreciate the struggle to survive, check out  THE STORY OF TREVOR AND TYLER

Joachin and Gabriel are twin boys with great smiles. What makes them different from each other will make them both strong for many years to come. Check out their site and enjoy 'double the fun'

MY PERFECT SON HAS CEREBRAL PALSY: A MOTHER'S GUIDE OF HELPFUL HINTS written by Marie Kennedy is a fine example of how one mother's determination can motivate her child to be the best that he can be in spite of living with cerebral palsy. I encourage anyone who is dealing with those same issues to get in touch with her.

I only just learned of  HUNTER'S HOPE . Hunter was diagnosed with Globoid-Cell Leukodystrophy . Curiously, I had seen that term before, but the reference was to dogs having it.
